A long, long time ago there was a girl named Kelly who couldn’t decide what she wanted to do with her life. So far, far away at school she decided that she really did want to be in that small town that seemed to have “nothing to do.” She wanted to change that. She thought she would come back and begin some type of fun family business. After coming home but well before starting a business, she met a boy! And low and behold they fell madly in love! They decided together they would take a whirl at the ice cream business, and with stars in their eyes they began what we now know as Kelly’s Ice Cream. That didn’t come without a whole lot of long, long late nights to turn their old run down metal pole building into a family friendly eatery with indoor & outdoor seating that exists today!
Paul and Kelly are proud of what they have been able to accomplish with a lot of hard work and dedication. We are very fortunate to share our success over the many years with many of our community’s finest young people. Seeing them grow and achieve their successes has been one of many great rewards we have received. Not only have we enjoyed all of our staff but we truly have extended our family beyond them to incredible customers!
Well it has come to our 20th anniversary and with some heartfelt consideration The Taylor Family has decided to turn over the reins so to speak to a wonderful couple whom share there vision to continue Kelly's Ice Cream in the same manor in which they have dedicated there lives to for the past 20 years! Joyce & Steve came to Kelly's with a love of Homemade Ice Cream and a passion to continue all the same Kelly's traditions. Stop in and introduce yourself they would love to meet you and look forward to many, many, more wonderful years of memories to be made at Kelly's Ice Cream! Come experience the fun!!
